Jacobs Quality Tactical Level 3 Steel Armor Plates are made in the USA and tested to stop 6 rounds from 7.62 Nato bullets with velocities up to 2780 fps.  Our AR500 steel plates are available in three popular sizes with a buildup, anti-spall coating available.  These plates are a curved, shooters cut design made to fit your body more comfortably and allow for greater range of motion while wearing your armor and shouldering your rifle.  All models of this plate come with a 20-year lifetime warranty.  It is highly recommended that you use trauma pads in conjunction with these plates.  Trauma pads when used behind the armor plate will reduce shock as well as mitigate impact if the plate gets hit.  Not sure what size armor plates or plate carrier you need?  Check out our Armor Sizing Guide.
