Hello, my name is Ken Jacobs, and I started my small business – Jacobs Quality Tactical – when I was 15 years old. It all began as a hobby when I saw a normal paracord bracelet and got interested in making them. After getting some instruction books and learning the basics with some paracord my dad gave me, which he had from his 82nd Airborne days in the Army, I started making a few items. After I had been doing it for a little while, my mom suggested I enter the craft show which our church was hosting, and I thought that was a great idea! I ordered some more paracord and started making bracelets for the show. I knew I wanted my bracelets to stand out from the rest, so I started thinking of ideas on how to add features to them. After some time thinking and then searching for quality materials, the JQT Survival Bracelet was born as my fist product. The craft show was a huge success and I started selling at all the local craft shows and outdoor sports shows ever since. In recent years I’ve added many more products, and I brought the business online. I created an Etsy shop, eBay store, and my own website – jacobsqualitytactical.com.
