Multi-Hit Capability: This is a stand-alone armor plate capable of withstanding multiple hits. It passed NIJ 0101.06 six shot stand-alone tests against 7.62 Nato bullets (.308 Winchester) with velocities up to 2780fps, 5.56 M855 M80 ball (green tip) at 2800fps and 5.56 M193 55 Grain FMJ at 2900fps. In house testing by the manufacturer defeated 30-06 165 grain copper tip trophy.
