Jacobs Quality Tactical Level 3 Steel Armor Plates are made in the USA and tested to stop 6 rounds from 7.62 Nato bullets with velocities up to 2780 fps.  Our AR500 steel plates are available in three popular sizes with a buildup, anti-spall coating available. These plates are a curved, shooters cut design made to fit your body more comfortably and allow for greater range of motion while wearing your armor and shouldering your rifle.  All models of this plate come with a 20-year lifetime warranty.  It is recommended that you use our trauma pads in conjunction with these plates.  Trauma pads go behind the armor plate and help reduce shock and mitigate impact if the plate gets hit.
