JQT level 4 side plates are available in both 6"x8" and 6"x6" sizes.  Level 4 is currently the highest-level body armor rating available on the market and is tested to stop 30-06 armor piercing rounds. To be considered a level 4 plate it is required to stop only one round of 30-06 M2AP, our level 4 plates are tested to stop 3 rounds instead of the minimum requirement of one.  Choose between our lightweight silicone carbide or alumina ceramics.  Silicone carbide is 14% lighter and will be more comfortable during long-term use.  All versions of this plate come with a 5-year manufacturer warranty.  Not sure what size armor plates or plate carrier you need?  Check out our Armor Sizing Guide.
